Conclusion

Cains Ballroom has been investigated by Sooner Paranomal with many high tech equipment and after all the research I am believer in that is a haunted place. It was a place for good music and great people with a few drunk nights, and many weekend fights, I believe some of the people who helped bring Cain's together still lurk around and live the life they had before. I do not think that they are harmful but yet not ready to let go of something they spent a lot of their time doing. One day I hope to go there and find out for my self if this place is actually haunted, but for now i will go on proven facts and the paranomal experiences of others that is truly haunted.

Sooner Paranormal Experience

In this video you can hear a voice, as it sounds like someone is singing. This is a clip from Sooner Paranormal. The voice is low and you can barely hear, but how would you feel to walk into an empty bathroom and hear something singing. Cain's was a place for people to come and enjoy great music and new people. Some of these people have refused to let go of what it use to be.

Stories

Some people say that when they would walk through Cain's Ballroom that they could feel someone just brerathing down their neck, or see lights go on and off (Gazette). Sooner Paranormal interviewed with Cain's manager Brad Harris who was not only helpful but co-operative, and very informative regarding the history of Cain's Ballroom. Mr. Harris was also a witness to many unexplained things here. He was admittedly a "middle of the road" person as far as belief in ghosts went, stating he had no strong beliefs either way. His own experiences were described as visual and auditoryin nature, most visual sightings being periphreal and discounted by him. His position as a manager did place him in a position where stories from others, including staff members, flowed to him. He was gracious enough to share them as followed: full bodied apparations, dissembodied voices, mutiple voices, feelings of being "watched", giggling, singing and cold spots.
The main entrance to the stage was the west side, leading in from outside and also passing by the women's restroom, as opposed to the men's on the east stage, surely Bob would rather be near the ladies right? Regaradlesss, stories of Bob's apparation never existed before the early 21st century. from 1997 to 2001 I personally walked the Ballroom as a security guard with no on other than one or two living individuals in the ballroom at a time when Cain's was famous for holding concerts that brought audiences of all types, yet the concerts were often drunken and brutal(VanOrsdal)

Background Information

Cain's Ballroom was built in 1924 to serve as a garage for one of Tulsa's founders, Tate Brady. In 1930 Madison W. "Daddy" Cain purchased the building and named it Cain's Dance Academy. The academy was the site of the Texas Playboy's first regular radio broadcast where they continued to play regularly. In 1976 the building was changed hands again. Larry Schaeffer purchased the building and as before the name was changed to Cain's Ballroom. In 1978 this place was one of the few venues to host the Sex Pistols in their only American tour. Cain's Ballroom has played host to such preformers as the Sex Pistols, Van Halen, The Ramones, Ted Nugent, and many more(Gazette). EMF activity and orbs have been seen in photographs taken at Cain's Ballroom. While walking through you can feel hot and cold spots, lights will go on and off. The investigation of Cain's Ballroom began on Novemember 3, 2008. The investigation team on sight was the sooner paranormal.
Cain's Ballroom has a legend of the floor being being spring loaded, which means having automobile springs under the place. When John Wooley (a freelance writer) preparing a new book on Cain's with co author Brett Bingham. As he looked into this he was sadly proven that this legend was only a legend. The legend has been passed down as cain's being a spring loaded dance floor with many people dancing their lifes away. When the Rodgers family had dug it up there was no evidence of it being spring loaded. This legend turned into being just a legend, but for many years it enjoyed people from all over the world coming in and dancing their night away (These walls: Cain's Ballroom).
Cain's Ballroom is filled with many famous faces whose picture is still hanging on the walls today. These portraits are lined up on the wall showing who made Cain's so famous and popular. Bob Wills, Roy Rodgers, Tex Ritter, Ernest Tubb and others. These faces stare down eerily from their positions along the walls. These faces have seen a little bit of everything here from musical genius to unalterated noise, violence, drunken brawls and even a handful of people who found the loves of their lives while walking the ballroom's timeworn boards(Taylor). This place is legendary for so many reasons, and there are people who believe that the faces staring down from the walls are not the only presences who watch over things here. There are many people who believe the place is haunted, haunted by memories and echoes from the past, a time when music and perhaps even life, was simpler(Taylor)

Proposal

People always say there is another type of life after the one here on earth. As time goes on we are expected to fufill our lives, but what happens when those self fulfillments are not yet accomplished, but yet its time to go? I believe spirits are among us who become our guardian angels while on earth. Sometimes when you are not quite done, your spirit stays here and haunts others until your jobs are done. In Tulsa, Oklahoma there is a place called Cain's ballroom. Cain's ballroom is a place where concerts are held. Many famous people have preformed there (Sex pistols, Van Halen, the Ramones, and Ted Nugent). In this place many unexplained things have happened. People have seen orbs which are claimed to be ghosts. Not only has this happened, but the lights will be on one minute and the next it will be lights off. When people have gone in to tour the building they have gotten the sickness feeling, hallucinations, and have heard many voices, some that can not be understood; they sound like someone who is mumbling. I am going to do further research and see what really goes on behind these closed doors. Is someone trying to prove something or is this just another illusion of our imagination?
